How It Works
During the initial consultation appointment, scans and pictures are taken of the mouth to plan the placement of the implants. On the day of the surgery, the four implants are placed into the jawbone. With traditional implants, the patient would be fitted with temporary restorations and then sent home for a lengthy healing. With same day implants, the abutments and final restoration are immediately attached to the four implants. Adjustments are made to ensure proper fit.
Recovery
During the recovery process, patients will have follow-up appointments to monitor the healing of the implant and make sure the bite and fit are still correct.
