More than cosmetic aligners, Invisalign in Scarborough an easy process for an improved smile

Dr. Amir Awadalla at Esquire Dental Center, Smiling Woman with silicone trainer. Invisible braces

There is more to a straight smile than beauty. As many people are learning, the appearance of the smile alone has a lot to do with our general sense of wellbeing. A straight smile is attractive as well as healthy. If you want a more attractive, healthier smile, it is time to view Invisalign as more than cosmetic aligners. In our office in Scarborough, North York, or Pickering, you can quickly discover how easy it can be to achieve your oral health goals.

Shortly after dentists started offering Invisalign treatment, this system became one of the most popular orthodontic methods the world over. It is the most modern approach to straightening teeth and correcting certain bite issues and it involves innovative technology and advanced research. Although the engineering and thought behind Invisalign is complex, the actual teeth-straightening process is very simple.

To learn more about Invisalign and see how this system can work for you, you need only schedule a consultation with the team at Esquire Dental Centres. During your consultation, your dentist will listen to your concerns and will assess your teeth and bite for Invisalign. If this system seems a good fit, we can move forward with x-rays and specialized imaging. The data that we gather is sent to the Invisalign lab and processed through ClinCheck software, which produces a 3D animation that shows us the gradual straightening of your teeth through a series of aligners.

Completing Treatment

One of the most appealing aspects of Invisalign is the ease in which treatment can be completed. Given a series of trays and instructions for wear, you are on your way to your best smile. Each set of aligners is worn for two weeks at a time, approximately 22 hours each day. The number of aligners varies from person to person, based on the degree of correction sought. Compliance with prescribed wear is important to the completion of treatment within the estimated time frame.

Invisalign is a system that impacts your life in the best ways. During your treatment, your smile will not be covered by unsightly or uncomfortable appliances. You can continue to eat as you normally do and have the ability to take excellent care of your teeth simply by removing aligners for meals and hygiene. The only modification to oral hygiene is the addition of rinsing aligner trays before insertion.

Learn more about Invisalign and what it can do for you when you call Esquire Dental Centres in Scarborough, North York, or Pickering.
