Scarborough, ON area patients can enjoy orthodontic treatment at Esquire Dental Centres

Dr. Amir Awadalla at Esquire Dental Center, Providing orthodontic treatment

Adults who have considered orthodontic treatment in the past are often unhappy with the idea of covering their smiles with metal brackets and wires for months, sometimes years at a time. Dr. Amir Awadalla and the team at Esquire Dental Centres provide an alternative for Scarborough, ON patients called Invisalign.

Invisalign Explained

Patients unhappy about using metal brackets and wires to reposition the teeth are encouraged to consider Invisalign. It works in a different way. This method utilizes plastic aligner trays. Patients are given a series of trays to wear two weeks at a time, to achieve the alignment they desire. Invisalign trays are clear and are practically indistinguishable on the smile, allowing patients to wear them day and night without embarrassment.

Why Choose Invisalign Orthodontics?

There are many reasons patients consider Invisalign. The first is the benefit of discreet treatment. Patients need to wear their trays all day and all night and only remove them for eating, drinking, and cleaning their teeth. With the clear trays, they are difficult to discern from the natural smile and allow patients to improve their appearance without embarrassment. Invisalign trays are also smooth and comfortable, eliminating scratching and irritation of the gums and inside of the cheeks. The gradual movement of the teeth is also comfortable, reducing the pain and discomfort patients might otherwise notice with more traditional orthodontics. Patients who are appropriate candidates for treatment are those with mild to moderate misalignment.
